Next Event Scheduled For First Weekend In October 2022

One of America’s top food festivals – the Pacific Wine & Food Classic at Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort in Newport Beach, CA – has been canceled for 2021.
The beachside event that features the bounty of Southern California with wines, cocktails, and food from the region’s top chefs had been scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 23-24.
“As champions of and advocates for the restaurant industry, we do not want to cause unnecessary strain during this time with challenges continuing to present themselves in many ways including staffing issues and cost increases,” said Pamela Waitt, President of OC Restaurant Association and founder of the Pacific Wine & Food Classic.
“We look forward to returning to Newport Dunes in October of 2022 and once again welcoming the community to enjoy a first-class epicurean experience in the idyllic beachside setting.”
The next Pacific Wine & Food Classic is set for the first weekend in October of 2022. The event takes place at Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort located at 1131 Back Bay Drive, Newport Beach, CA. Net proceeds from the Pacific Wine & Food Classic benefit the Golden Rule Charity.
Voted No. 1 on USA Today’s list of 10 Best Food Festivals in the nation in 2020, the Pacific Wine & Food Classic features nearly 50 wineries, almost 30 chefs from in and around Orange County as well as bourbon, tequila and rum cocktails.
It was the 2018 winner of The LA Times Best Event in OC.
