10th Annual Event Features Craft Beers, Chili & Live Music In Temecula
When people in and around Los Angeles think of things or do in Temecula, going wine tasting is at the top of their list. And for good reason, for there are some 50 wineries in Temecula Valley.
But there’s also beer, and on Saturday, June 9, Pechanga Resort & Casino is hosting its 10th annual Microbrew Beer Festival & Chili Cookoff featuring Pachanga’s head chef. It is held in the resort’s ballroom and proceeds go to benefit the Habitat For Humanity charity.
There are 25 craft beer companies from a wide range of regions (Boston to Hawaii!), live music and of course the chili.
The event takes place for 1-5 p.m., with VIP entry at noon. Tickets are $50, $65 for VIP. It is advisable to get the tickets in advance as space is limited.
This is a fantastic, well-run event that’s likely to blow you away and have you immediately thinking “we’re DEFINITELY coming back next year” followed by “oh look, more chili. And more beer!” Click here for our full review.

Of course, don’t be doing any drinking and driving, so PubClub suggests staying at Pechanga. If you’re on a roll for beer, you can have dinner at Kelsey’s, a bar with dozens of craft beers on tap. And to keep rocking, go to the Eagle’s Nest, a rooftop bar at the resort.
Of course, there’s also Vegas-style gambling games in the casino.
So do it right and you can make an entire weekend night of it at Pechanga. Then if you want to go wine tasting the next day, you can do that, as well.
