Top Locations In RB, Hermosa Beach & Manhattan Beach
Instead, the actual show in the sky is in Redondo Beach.
Fireworks are launched in front of Seaside Lagoon around King Harbor Marina. But you don’t have to be in Redondo to see them; they are visible from all over the South Bay.
The show starts at 9 p.m., and lasts for approximately 20 minutes. If you are close enough to Seaside Lagoon you can hear the patriotic music being played to the celebration.
Assuming you’re not there, here’s places to watch them in the South Bay. Note that alcohol is illegal on The Strand and the beaches, but of course it’s the 4th and you’re likely to be drinking. Just be sure and be discreet about it.
Redondo Beach 4th Of July Fireworks Viewing Locations
This is where to be for up-close viewing and possibly to hear the patriotic music.
• The access road behind Seaside Lagoon up to the seawall by Joe’s Crab Shack and the Portofino Hotel
• The seawall in King Harbor marina parking lot behind Ruby’s Diner
• The end of the Redondo Beach Pier by Kincaid’s
• Along the seawall next to the Chart House
Hermosa Beach 4th Of July Fireworks Viewing Locations
Look to the left when facing the beach. The fireworks can be seen from The Strand and the decks of house parties along The Strand. You’ll get a better view, however, by walking out onto the sand.
The further south you are, the better the viewing because the south end of Hermosa Beach is only a half-mile from King Harbor.
Manhattan Beach 4th Of July Fireworks Viewing Locations
Look to the left when facing the ocean. The fireworks can be seen from The Strand but most people walk down to the water’s edge on the beach. If you look to the right – especially for those in North Manhattan (El Porto), you can also see the fireworks up the coast in Marina del Rey.
Where else in the USA can you see two fireworks shows at the same time from the same location!?
