Smackfest Events Hosts Craft Beer Festival In Redondo Beach’s Seaside Lagoon
It is the fifth year already? Time sure flies by and you’re drinking beer.
The fifth annual Beach Cities Beer And Wine Festival put on by Smackfest Events is set for April 11 Redondo Beach’s Seaside Lagoon. Tickets go on sale March 15 and it is advisable to get them then because the last two events have sold out in advance.
This event is like the Smackfest beach volleyball tournament, except there’s no volleyball element and drinking at the event is legal. Expect a lot of the same fun-loving, party and mostly singles crowd, 1,200 strong.
The event features some 25 craft beers, food from local restaurants and bands on a stage, along with DJ music.
1200 people attending !! This year’s event will be bigger and better,!,” exclaimed an enthusiastic Bill Sigler, founder of Smack Sportwear and Smackfest Events. “It is the perfect setting to showcase renowned wineries and breweries, as well as local restaurants serving amazing food.”
Proceeds from the event benefited the Boys and Girls Club of the South Bay.
