The viewing party takes in the Redondo Beach fireworks, which start at 9 p.m., and are set to patriotic music. There will be a full bar with appetizers and a DJ before and after the fireworks snacks for purchase. Its location is also on the Aquadeck, which provides a high-level view of the fireworks, which are set off at the pier just to the left (south) of the hotel.
There is a $20 cover charge to gt on the Aqudeck.
The Sea Level Lounge, the hotel’s regular bar on the first level of the southern building, will be open as usual with no cover charge.
If you want to party earlier, local promoter Berry Bly is hosting a rooftop party the top of Shade’s other building, and this one has a pool. There are three DJs and a lot of splashing around; it starts at 2 and ends at 10, which means it is also a good viewing location for the fireworks. There is a $20 charge.
