‘Blowout Bash’ Scheduled For Bar On Friday, Oct. 13

Normally, Friday the 13th is a day to stay inside, avoid walking under any ladders, not to cross the paths of any black cats and in general avoid any bad luck that might come your way.
But for those in around the South Bay Beach Cities of Los Angeles, this year it’s a time to be out and party, for that is the day that Shade Hotel in Redondo Beach is celebrating its 1-year anniversary. It’s having a party, overlooking the boats of King Harbor Marina.
Or, in the words of Shade, it’s a “blowout bash.”
Here’s the description in its own words:
“Shade Hotel Redondo Beach, one of LA’s hottest luxury hotels, is celebrating its One Year Anniversary in style with a blowout bash to thank its loyal guests and community!
“With sweeping views of the waterfront, the party will include drink specials, a DJ spinning contemporary beats, live music, prizes and more. We’d love for you to experience the charming California coastal vibe of Shade Hotel Redondo Beach, and can arrange for an overnight stay at a special rate. as well.”
The party takes place on all three levels of the bar area – Shade is divided into two buildings, one with the hotel and pool and the other with a sea-level bar and rooftop bar – and to attend all you need to do is RSVP on its Facebook page.
It’s free but space is limited. There are drink specials and the first 100 people get a complimentary champagne toast.
It starts at 6 p.m, and goes until 1 a.m.
Located overlooking King Harbor Marina, Shade’s bar is a good place to be anytime but this promises to be a celebration that will be packed with a lot of the South Bay’s movers and shakers.
And in the South Bay, that means it’s THE place to be that night, as the drinks will be flowing, the conversations will be more overboard than anyone on the boats in the harbor can create and, well, it will be an epic party.
