Welcome to the PubClub.com South Bay Party Report!
The PubClub.com South Bay Party Report is brought to you by Kona Brewing Company; check out its great beer at the Trump Wine & Beer Festival!
It’s Trump National Wine & Beer Festival Week! Get ready for one of the top singles social events of the summer – or heck, the year – in the South Bay! But, of course there’s more, because there always is in the happening Beach Cities (and beyond)!
THURSDAY – EL SEGUNDO ART WALK (THERE’S DRINKS!)

The El Segundo Art Walk is this Thursday. What is that, you ask? It’s a stroll through downtown businesses that have local art on the walls or – in the case of one place – actually hanging from the ceiling in the form of trapeze artists. Most places serve wine or beer (some more than others, of course). Think of it as a summertime version of the Manhattan Beach Holiday Stroll.
In true PubClub.com style, the following guide provides all the information you need to know about it. Namely, the most cool places and where to get drinks!

SATURDAY – SPAAZMATICS AT SAINT ROCKE
The fun party band is back in the South Bay! Show starts at 9 (band time). Cover: $15.
TRUMP WINE & BEER FESTIVAL – WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

If you have GA tickets, get there no later than 11:30 a.m. Eat first; even tho there are food trucks you still need a good “base” before making your run through the tents. Remember that you have four hours to enjoy the event so pace yourself accordingly. Don’t drive – there’s a wait even for the VIP parking and every cop in Palos Verdes is waiting at the exit after the event. And here’s more!

If you need tickets or have tickets to sell, check this page, which has both:

SUNDAY CONCERTS

I did something last week that I should do more often at the Hermosa concerts and that is, walked up to the stage. That’s fun! I encourage everyone to do it. It’s always cool to be by the stage at concerts and here you’ve got the extra bonus of having your toes between the sand. You can’t beat it! I took these photos from there and of the band Venice last week:

Up in Manhattan, the band at Polliwog Park is Lady Zepp, an all-female tribute to Led Zeppelin.

BARLEY – THE INTERVIEW & UNPLUGGED ON THE STRAND
The local Hermosa Beach band Barley conducted an interview with PubClub.com and gave an unplugged sampling of what you’ll hear when it’s on stage at the huge KAABOO Del Mar festival in September, the same day as Jimmy Buffett! Plus, the band is organizing a party bus from the South Bay for only $24! The date is Friday, Sept. 16.

OLYMPICS BEACH VOLLEYBALL

Well, so much for the Americans – Phil Dalhuausser and partner lost in the quarterfinals (to a beast of a Brazilian guy, it must be pointed out) and finished fifth, and Kerri Walsh-Jennings and April Ross fell in the semis to a too-hot duo from the host country and are playing for a Bronze medal instead of Gold.
You can see all of them – for free – at the World Series of Beach Volleyball Aug. 25-28 in Long Beach.
COMING SOON IN THE PARTY REPORT: THE PIGSKIN PROGNOSTICATOR!
I’m trying not to think about it yet but then again it’s impossible to ignore. College Football season starts Labor Day Weekend and with it, of course, means the return of one of the most popular features of the Party Report, The Pigskin Prognosticator!
What will he have to say about the huge first weekend that has USC taking on Alabama at Jerry’s World, UCLA at Texas A&M, LSU-Wisconsin at Lambeau Field, Clemson at Auburn, Notre Dame at Texas and Ole Miss and Florida State???
