Eighth Annual Event In Palos Verdes

The 2016 Trump Wine & Beer Festival will take place on Sunday, Aug. 21, at its gorgeous setting atop Palos Verdes in Southern California.
Now in its 8th year, this has become one of the top social events in the South Bay. The event will start at noon for those with VIP tickets, and General Admission opens at 1 p.m.
As in the past few years, there will be live music, food trucks, raffles and – most importantly – more than 100 wines from wineries throughout California as well as dozens of craft beers.

Tickets have yet to go on sale and prices have yet to be announced. PubClub.com will have a separate article on tickets when that information is available.
Since its inception – has it been eight years already!? – the Trump National Wine & Beer Festival has provided the South Bay with something it has long needed, and that’s a classy but casual event featuring great wines and brews.
Its uniqueness made it an instant hit and its location at the Trump National Golf Club with views overlooking Palos Verdes and clear to Catalina Island only added to the sensation of the event.
As such, it’s become the toughest ticket in town, the South Bay’s equivalent of trying to get into the Masters.
Girls turn out in their best summer dresses and men dress up in polo or “Charlie Harper” bowling shirts (with shorts), making it a scene not unlike that of a cocktail party at the Kentucky Derby.
It has even spawned another sort of similar event, the South Bay Wine & Beer Festival taking place May 14 at Bay Club in Redondo Beach, put on by Smackfest Events.
The 2016 Trump National event is presented by Martin Chevrolet and benefits the Palos Verdes Land Conservancy.
