Weekly Performances At Legendary Venue Feature Rising LA Bands

Rising Los Angeles bands are getting their chance on a big stage with the weekly Ultimate Jam Night at the Whiskey A Go Go on the Sunset Strip.
Every Tuesday, this legendary venue brings in acts all around the city for one rockin’ song in a non-stop celebration of rock music. Hosted by rock legends (Chuck Wright of Quiet Riot, Mitch Perry of The Sweet among them) then bands put on one dynamic performance after another.
This is a free event. There is no cover charge. This means you get to go into a live music club on the Sunset Strip with the only cost being your bar tab. (Granted, this can be substantial if you party like PubClub.com, but with this much good music, you’ve just got to have a beer in your hand.)
Remember, this is the venue that where the Doors were once the house band.
Like all great live music venues, including those on the Sunset Strip, the Whiskey A Go Go is a black t-shirt-and-jeans place. Its decor is basic and the focal point is on what it should be: its stage.
This is not a sit-down and clap place but a throw-the-arms-up and sing to the music club. The Ultimate Jam Night certainly brings that out in people.
The lineup changes each week and its posted on the Whiskey A Go Go’s Ultimate Jam Night Facebook page.
It’s a great way to experience LA’s nightlife.
