So what would you think they have in the Southern California wine country of Temecula, CA for NYE? If you guessed a grape drop then you are correct.
This is a public event in downtown Temecula at the Civic Center. It goes from 6 p.m.-12:30 a.m. It includes live music, food vendors and ice skating (10 p.m.-12:30 a.m.). There are two drops, one for the East Coast (9 p.m.) and another for the West Coast (midnight) countdown.
This event is just down from the The Gambling Cowboy, which is serving a New Year’s Eve Dinner with music, magic and more. Lorimar Winery is serving up a buffet dinner with live music on the patio and a DJ inside. A Lorimar Ball drop will be followed by a toast of its sparkling wine.

Temecula NYE Wineries Events
Wilson Creek Winery will hold its popular annual New Year’s Eve Party which includes an elegant night with a three-course meal, dessert bar, dancing, and more. A Fire & Ice Party at Fazeli Cellars features live entertainment, dinner, cocktails, a DJ, and dancing.
South Coast Winery Resort & Spa has a New Year’s Eve with a dinner service by Chef Jose Esparza at The Vineyard Rose Restaurant offering a ’70’s inspired prix fixe dinner. The resort will also celebrate with a live musical performance by Sebastian Sidi followed by DJ/comedian Johnny Herrera, as well as dancing and a late-night small bite buffet.
