‘All-Day, All-Doors’ Features Cover Band Peace Frog On Dec. 8

The live music venue right on the boardwalk in Venice, CA, is having “All-Day All-Doors,” a tribute to Morrison and The Doors starting, well, as soon as its doors open at 4:20 p.m. Which is also Happy Hour, by the way.
The tribute day and night starts with Robbie Gennett followed by a top Doors cover bands, Peace Frog, which plays from 8-midnight.
There is no cover charge.
CBS called Peace Frog “the premiere Doors tribute band.” It has performed worldwide for nearly two decades with lead singer Tony Fernandez, who truly personifies Morrison on stage.
“The Venice Beach Bar building owner was responsible for getting this spot designated a historical landmark by the city of Los Angeles due to its cultural significance to the area.” Fernandez said. “Peace Frog is honored to perform at the same place Jim Morrison hung out and wrote poetry on what would have been his 73rd birthday. Our great American poet Jim Morrison still lives in our hearts and minds.”
“Given the history of our building and the fact that Jim was a frequent visitor, we feel it’s only right to salute the man who many consider the musical patron saint of Venice Beach,” said Jim Adelstein, the building’s owner.
“Since we are the only live music venue on the boardwalk, where better to keep his music, his poetry and his spirit alive? We are grateful Peace Frog will help us pay tribute to the late, great Jim Morrison and the music of The Doors.”
