Yoga & Craft Beers, A Mixology Class, Karaoke & Comedy

Singles in San Clemente, CA, have several weekly events for meeting and drinking. Some are standard bar happenings and some are really creative endeavors.

Here’s a rundown of what and where in and around this Southern California beach community.

• Bend & Brew – Yoga In A Craft Brewery

When: Sundays, 11:30 a.m. & Tuesdays 6 p.m.

Get in an hour of yoga and then drink a pint of beer! Yoga is a great activity to meet single people and combined with beer, it’s a perfect pairing. Of course, if things go well, you’ll likely to stay for more than that one pint. Put on by iHeart Yoga, the cost is just $10 and that includes the beer.

• Mixology University – Make Then Drink Your Own Cocktails

When: Wednesdays, 7 p.m.
Where: Waterman’s Harbor Restaurant, Dana Point

This is a really creative event in which the Waterman’s Harbor bartenders teach you how to make their cocktails. Then you drink them! There’s three featured drinks each week. The cost is $25, which of course includes your self-made cocktails.

• Karaoke Nights

When: Tuesdays, 8 p.m. & Wednesdays 7 p.m.
Where: Goody’s Tavern (Tuesdays), Swallows Inn (Wednesdays)

At Goody’s, it’s karaoke every Tuesday night and Wednesday it’s at the legendary Swallow’s Inn (be sure and observe the, ahem, artwork, on the men’s room wall) with Bobby and Joel.
