San Diego’s nightlife is divese in that it has pubs, clubs, live menu venues, restaurant/bars, speakeasies, brewpubs, wine tasting rooms, beach bars, dive bars and funky hangouts.
It also has something else, a unique nighlife experience at the Pearl Hotel in the Point Loma neighborhood. It’s called Dive In Movies and the “dive in” part is that you can dive into its swimming pool during a flick.
Every Wednesday evening starting at 7 p.m., the Pearl shows a poolside movie with dinner and cocktails. The December movies are as follows:
• Dec. 6 – Elf
• Dec. 13 – Home Alone
• Dec. 20 – The Holiday
• Dec. 27 – A Christmas Story
The movies are shows on a big screen in the pool area. The event is free – no pets allowed tho – and a food and beverage purchase is required.
