If you want to have a big night in San Diego for New Year’s Eve, then go to the Big Night San Diego NYE party. It’s a multi-room, multi-bar event taking place at the San Diego Hilton Bayfront. And drinks are included as it is an all-inclusive party.
This is a NYE party primarily for San Diego singles and fun couples. The event includes the following:
• Multiple bars (drinks included)
• Multiple party rooms
• Multiple dance floors
• More than a dozen entertainment acts
• Silent disco
• Party favors
• Midnight celebration
• Food with some ticket options
Entertainment is from eight DJs, two silent disco DJs and Paging the Go, a GoGo’s tribute band.
Tickets range in price from $139 (early-bird, increasing to $159) to $319. Actually, you can get in cheaper ($99 increasing to $129.99 for entry after 11 tho that really limits the pre-midnight mingling time). Here is a rundown of each package:
• Main Event (No Food) Ticket
Entry starts at 9 p.m.
All drinks included beer, wine, liquor, champagne toast at midnight)

• Main Event, Entry After 11 p.m.
Same as above with a later entry time.
Prices:$99.99, $104.99, $109.99, $114.99, $129.99
• VIP
Entry starting at 9 p.m.
All of the above plus access to multiple, VIP party areas and upgraded, top-shelf drinks, Heavy Hors d’oeuvres Buffet, upgraded party favors and additional, non-reserved seating
Prices: $229.99, $239.99, $249.99, $259.99
• Velvet Rope
Entry starting at 8 p.m.
This is the premium ticket with upscale food & beverage service from 8-9:30, reserved dinner seating ranging from couples to larger parties up to 10 (tables are purchased in increments of 2). Private dining and bar service in the NEW Lounge (this will remain open until 10 p.m; the other Velvet Rope areas will remain open for the duration of the event) and reserved seating.
Prices: $289-319 per person

In other words, it’s a big-time NYE party. The scene is a reception-style event for the Main Event tickets, encompassing several of the Hilton’s vast Ballroom Complex. There is lmited seating for the Main Event tickets to maximize event space and crowd flow. There is more seating in the VIP sections ahd Velvet Rope tickets includes a sit-down dinner.
There is no formal dress code although it being New Year’s Eve so for men club attire to black tie is suggested and for girls stylish cocktail attire to formal gowns.
