
There won’t be any May Grey in San Diego’s East Village on the 21st and 22, for those are the 2025 dates for the third annual Taste of East Village.
Going from 4-8 p.m., this is a two-day culinary tour of 30 of the downtown neighborhood’s most popular restaurants. At check-in, ticketholders will be given a Taste Passport which will serve as a guide to the participating restaurants in the neighborhood, which will be serving appetizers, entrees, desserts, and beverages.
“We’re thrilled to bring back the Taste of East Village for its third year,” said Dominic Li Mandri, District Manager of the East Village Association. “East Village is known for its eclectic mix of restaurants and bars, and we are excited to offer both locals and visitors the chance to explore and enjoy the incredible flavors our neighborhood has to offer.”


The event provides an opportunity to discover new culinary delights and celebrate the neighborhood’s growing dining scene. Make your way through East Village and enjoy small samples at each restaurant, earning a stamp on your passport. Participating restaurants incluce Tom’s Watch Bar, Monzu Fresh Pasta, Storyhouse Spirits, Knotty Barrel and many more!
Tickets are now available, with a limited number of early bird tickets priced at $40 and general sale tickets at $45, plus a service fee. They can be purchased at TasteOfEastVillageSD.com.
