The Gaslamp Quarter’s barleymash, a lively always-happping bar on the corner of 5th & Market at the centerpiece of the Gaslamp Quarter, has unleashed its cocktail menu for the summer.
There are four drinks – some familiar to barleymash regulars – and each is different enough to provide a good variety. They are:

- Watermelon Sugar: Whether you’re a discerning watermelon fan or just love Harry Styles, indulge in Grey Goose Watermelon Basil Essences, lemon, fresh basil, and Watermelon Red Bull.
- I Don’t Buck With You: Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, fresh strawberry, lemon, ginger beer.
- Lime in the Coconut: Espolon Blanco tequila, house coconut syrup, lime, toasted coconut.
- You Met Your Matcha: Skyy raspberry, matcha-infused orange liqueur, orgeat, lemon, dehydrated raspberry.
I can tell you from a drink-to-the-lips perspective that the Lime in the Coconut will having you singing the likes of Kenny Chesney’s “Keys In The Conch Shell” and that is much stronger than it appears. This is no island resort tourist drink – it’s a real cocktail.
barleymash 12 Anniversary Party Details
On May 28, barleymash is celebrating its 12 birthday with an anniversary party. It’s going all out for it, creating an all-white party called Cabana Blanco Bash. The bar will transform into a huge cabana. The VIP private party is 7-9 and then it will open up to the public with several DJs playing throughout the night.
The party is on a Tuesday tho no doubt it will seem like a weekend.
