The Bar Scene Is Surging In The Gaslamp Quarter
The surging nightlife scene in San Diego – in particular in and around the Gaslamp and East Village areas – continues now that Parq nightclub is back open and ready to party.
On Saturday, June 19, Parq re-launches with headliner DJ Dynamiq.
Located at 6th and Broadway, Parq San Diego is a Vegas-type club with a large dance floor filled with vibrant lighting, smoke, confetti and bottle service girls walking through the crowd carrying sparklers.
It is one of many bars and clubs in the downtown are that are almost pack to their pre-pandemic level. It’s going to get even more lively now that California is fully open again and vaccinations in San Diego have topped the three million mark.
“Our community, the nation, and the world, have had to endure so much during these last 15 months and we are so proud to be opening our doors once again,” said Carlos Becerra, Parq Restaurant & Nightclub owner.
“We stuck to the rules and now it’s time to celebrate. I am so very grateful to be welcoming back so many of our wonderful, loyal employees. It is a true joy to be working with them all again. We can’t wait to see all of our returning guests and meet our new guests. Let’s party, San Diego!”
The party kicks off Saturday at 9 p.m. with an exclusive ticketed cocktail reception featuring hosted cocktails by Tito’s and Don Julio. This ticketed VIP hour is the only way to gain early access. Doors open to the public at 10 p.m. For VIP tables, e-mail VIP@parqsd.com.
