UPDATE 2023 – Nick Cannon’s Wild ‘N Out Bar Is Closed With The Theater Box Closing

Nick Cannon’s Wild ‘N Out bar in the San Diego Gaslamp is open and PubClub.com takes you inside this bar that is true to its name.
Because it’s wild and if you try and down one of its supersized, ice-bucket large cocktails without a LOT of help, you will be out, as in passed out and out of the bar.
Nick Cannon himself was there on opening night to officially open the bar, which is on Sixth Ave., between G and F avenues on the back side of the Sugar Factory.
While people crammed around the red carpet to get a glimpse of him in scene straight out of Hollywood, people inside ate its food, drank drinks from its exotic menu (there are more than a half-dozen margaritas, for example) and took advantage of the the many entertainment options available to them.
These include – in no particular order – a Mario Super Bros racing video game, pop-a-shot, air hockey, Halo Fireteam Raven that’s in a booth and sports, vintage pinball machines, seven TVs on the back wall and a giant one on a side wall.

All this is available while you’re being entertained by a DJ pumping Wild ‘N Out tunes at a level that won’t exactly hammer your eardrums but is loud enough to let you know you’re in a happening nightclub.
Nick Cannon has created this bar straight out of his hit VH1 Wild ‘N Out TV show and it shows. A San Diego native, he is thrilled to have a bar – this bar in particular– in his hometown.
“It’s homegrown,” he said. “It’s great to bring out television show to some place where people can come and have a good time.”
It all adds up to a fun – and different – San Diego Gaslamp bars and nightlife experience.
