The creative team at Glass Box restaurant in Del Mar, CA, continues its monthly dinner series with a beer pairing this August.
Set for Monday, Aug. 21, it features San Diego craft brewery Abnormal Beer Co. This is a six-course pairing featuring selections of Abnormal’s local crafted beer alongside special creations from San Diego’s award-winning chef Ethan Yang.
Each dish and beer pairing has been crafted to showcase the artistry and skill of Yang and Abnormal Brewing Co. It includes food items Tai Tartare, Tempura Tasting, Lobster Loaf, Sushi Sampler, Wasabi Wagyu and S’More Stout for dessert. The beer pairings include Abnormal Blonde, Secret Safari, Boss Pour IPA, Hazy Dreams, Abnormalweiss, and an Abnormal Mocha Stout for dessert.

Glass Box is a supersize glass-walled sushi restaurant with 18 seats around the counter and tables with another 35 seats outside the glass box. Yang takes pride in meticulously selecting the finest seafood, locally-sourced produce, and authentic Japanese ingredients to ensure an unparalleled dining experience for his guests.
Abnormal Beer Co. started in 2015 in Rancho Bernardo. Spun out from a winery and restaurant, beer production began slowly, only employing a single brewer at the time. The Abnormal team and facility has grown over the years to support engaging with additional markets to provide its beer to new customers.
