Apparently, the best cure for Jimmy Buffett is to go back on tour.
His canceled San Diego concert at the new Snapdragon Stadium has been rescheduled for Saturday, May 6. Tickets went on sale Friday, Dec. 16.
This comes on the heels of Buffett announcing rescheduled concerts in Las Vegas plus one in Phoenix and another at a brand-new venue in Palm Springs, CA.
“Thank for your patience as we got our logistics together,” the beach-loving, boat-loving, part-time pilot troubadour song writer stated on the Jimmy Buffett and Coral Reefers Facebook page.
This is great news for Jimmy Buffett fans, known as “Parrotheads” because of the tropical way they dress to go to his concerts. Of course, the pre-concert tailgate parties are legendary for anyone who has been to one of this shows.
Buffett canceled a handful of shows – including one at San Diego State’s new football venue, Snapdragon Stadium – with an undisclosed illness. He vowed he would be back on tour in the spring and he is proving to be a man of his word.
