Ocean Beach Bar The Holding Company Has Rainy Day Drink Specials

It rains in San Diego about as often as a local sports team wins a championship – well a little more often than that – but when it does you can soak in the change in the weather with several rainy day drink specials at Ocean Beach bar The Holding Company.

On any day where it’s not sunny you can drown your sunshine sorrows with these drink specials. The Rainy Day Specials are:

Keep in mind that San Diego averages 325 days of sunshine a year so rainy days don’t happen very often but instead of staying home like most people here do it provides a fun way to have a sudden party with your friends. Just don’t expect to see a sunset from the balcony.

The Holding Company is a three-level bar, restaurant and live music venue – it has it all! – overlooking the sand and Pacific in San Diego’s Ocean Beach. Its regular Happy Hour (rain or shine) is Tuesday-Friday from 4-6 p.m. Those drink specials are as follows:
• $2 pint beer of the day
• 10 pitchers of beer
• $4 cocktails
• $15 off all towers of beer & drinks
• Half off most tequilas and whiskeys (The Holding Company has an extensive list of both of these spirits)

Music with live bands and DJs takes place most Thursday, Friday and Saturday and does require ticket purchase (prices vary).

For food, it is open for lunch and dinner with everything ranging from the HoCo Poke Bowl to the Sizzling Filet Shaken Beef. It also has a brunch on weekends.
