San Diego North Park’s Louisiana Purchase Restaurant Hosting Tuesday Charity Nights

In Southern Calfornia, the second day of the week usually means Taco Tuesday with bars and restaurants all up and down the coast having some type of special for tacos, margaritas and cervezas.

But San Diego’s Louisiana Purchase restaurant in the city’s North Park neighborhood is tossing some Cajun spice on Tuesdays. It is hosting a NOLA Bites menu that will be available all day will with items like Alligator Andouille Cheesecake and the  flavorful Airline Chicken Skillet. It is also donating proceeds of the night to local charities on the first Tuesday or the month, with 100% of its proceeds going to the Lincoln High School football program for the launch event on Sept. 13.

For those who want to start early, there is Bayou Hour, Louisiana Purchase’s twist on happy hour, from 3-5 on Tuesdays as well as 3-5 Wednedays, Thursdays and Fridays.
