The fields open March 1 with the blooming of 70+ million colorful flowers. For more 60 years, this working farm has welcomed people to experience the beauty and splendor of its fifty-five acres of Giant Tecolote Ranunculus, a flower renowned for its large, double-petaled blooms that sit atop tall, straight stems.
Its 2023 dates are March 1-May 14.
The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch’s 2023 theme is “Live Colorfully,” a fitting anthem amongst the seemingly endless rows of color-coordinated blooms that create a beautiful backdrop.
Tickets are $23, booked for specific times on specific days. They must be purchased on-line as no walk-up tickets are available. There is no re-entry, tho you can stay until the fields close. Tickets for the wagon ride are sold on site after your entry into the fields.
