Tourists Can Get Tickets To Attractions & Book Hotel Rooms Inside Macy’s

One of the most popular areas for tourists in San Francisco – certainly for those doing any shopping – now has a visitor information center.
Located at Union Square inside Macy’s, it’s a staffed kiosk that also has information on touch screens. A big plus is that people can also purchase tickets to the city’s attractions and make hotel reservations.
There’s also San Francisco Travel’s Official Visitors Planning Guide, maps and brochures from businesses partners of San Francisco Travel.
The main office of San Francisco Travel is sill open at Hallidie Plaza, which is at Market & Powell streets (900 Market Street, San Francisco, CA).
“While our current Visitor Information Center at Hallidie Plaza welcomes some 400,000 visitors per year, this new location allows us to provide even more service with longer hours and the opportunity to offer more one-to-one assistance,” said San Francisco Travel President & CEO Joe D’Alessandro.
The Union Square center is located in The Cellar on the lower level of Macy’s, adjacent to the U.S. Post Office and near elevators and escalators. It has the same hours at Macy’s.
