Taste Of Sonoma Lounge Offers Wine Tastings From Wineries

With Sonoma County being a destination sponsor of the game, it has a set up a wine tasting area as part of Super Bowl City in downtown San Francisco.
More than 50 wineries are pouring at the Taste of Sonoma Lounge, located near the Ferry Building. Super Bowl City, a free fans gathering spot which features free concerts, among other things, is located at Justin Herman Plaza, which is at the end of Market Street by the Embarcadero.

People can enter to win a trip to Sonoma County for wine tasting and can also purchase wines to take back with them or have it shipped to their home.
Both Super Bowl City and the Taste of Sonoma Lounge are open daily from Jan. 30-Feb. 7.
The latter brings a touch of the America’s Cup experience to Super Bowl City; when that event was in San Francisco there was a large public viewing and social area with pop-up bars that gave the event a real festive atmosphere.
The Taste of Sonoma Lounge is just that, a lounge for tasting the area’s wines. It’s a modern, open interior with tall glass windows and a patio (tho note it may not exactly be balmy weather in the City by the Bay in February).
Access to the lounge is free and there are representatives from Sonoma County and the wineries for conversations about the area and to answer questions.
It will likely be most popular – and lively – late afternoons during the week when locals commuters stop in for some wind-down wine before catching the ferry home.
