Daryl Hall’s Tonsils End Shows In Honolulu & On Maui

That’s because the highly anticipated Daryl Hall & John Oates shows in Hawaii on Oct. 27 & 29 have been cancelled.
Daryl Hall has an issue with his tonsils that requires medical attention and has been advised by his doctors not to sing for the next seven weeks.
While the duo certainly does not want to disappoint their Hawaii fans, the shows in Honolulu at the Blaisdell Arena on Oct. 27 and on Maui at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center on Oct. 29 have been cancelled as a result of Hall’s medical issue.
Oahu refunds for the Blaisdell Box Office ticket sales will start Friday Oct. 7 at 10 a.m. Ticketmaster phone charges and online sales will automatically be credited to customer’s accounts.
Maui refunds will be issued beginning Friday, Oct. 7 at 10 a.m.
All tickets purchased by credit card will be automatically credited to the patron’s accounts. Tickets purchased with cash will need to be returned to the point of purchase at the MACC for a refund. All fees will be refunded to all patrons.
Both events were to be put on by Live Nation and local Hawaii promoter Bamp Project. They also were to feature Hawaii legend Henry Kapono. Although fans of Kapono know they can still see him each and every week at Duke’s on Sunday in Waikiki.
Other Hall & Oates shows during this time are also affected so if you have tickets, check the dates when Hall is scheduled to return.
Just have John Oates sing himself. Who doesn’t want to hear “How Does It Feel To Be Back” or “Italian Girls”?
