Popular Beer GFJ Returns, Limited-Release Beers On Tap, Live Entertainment & Food Trucks

It’s Saturday, June 24 and it features a DJ, live music, food trucks and, well, beer. It takes place in the brewery’s parking lot from 5:30-10:30 p.m.
The cost is $10 if you buy tickets more than a month in advance, then the price increases to $15. Tickets are $20 the day of the event.
A potential highlight from a beer perspective is the return of the popular seasonal GFJ, a classic American IPA created by head brewer Dave Colt that features hops from the Pacific Northwest that create an intense citrus hop flavor that is reminiscent of biting into a fresh grapefruit.
GFJ will once again be released in a 16-ounce can, as well as on draft statewide. Beer lovers can purchase 4-packs of GFJ (limit two cases) to take home and enjoy, tho you must also purchase a ticket to the event.
A special anniversary beer will also be featured at the event and several limited-release beers will be on tap.
ENTERTAINMENT: Indy’s own DJ Helicon will be warming up the stage for Nikki Lane, a country singer-songwriter, and Parker Millsap, the 22-year-old singer-songwriter from Oklahoma with music inspired by country, blues and rock n’ roll sounds. Tyler Childers will support. MOKB Presents is providing the entertainment.
TICKETS: Tickets are on sale now and available for $10 in advance online or at Sun King Brewery locations (Indianapolis and Fishers) for a limited time ($10 ticket ends Wednesday, May 10). After May 10, tickets are $15 in advance. Day of show tickets will be $20.
