Hotel & Brewery Expanding Just Off The Vegas Strip

The Ellis Island Casino Hotel & Brewery has broken ground on a new addition, a two-story bar and restaurant in the stye of a beer garden called The Front Yard.
Scheduled to open late in 2017, The Front Yard will feature a “beer garden-like lush and green atmosphere mixed with rustic and cool design,” according to the company.
The Ellis Island on-site brewery, which will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2018, will be visible from The Front Yard, enabling people to see the copper tanks and brewing process.
The menu, in addition to its beers as well as cocktails and wines, is casual dining fare.
“Ellis Island will continue to offer the same inviting, family-oriented feeling that has made it a Las Vegas favorite for years, while keeping amenities fresh, cool and relevant,” said Gary Ellis, owner of Ellis Island.
The two-story venue will have a capacity of 300 and feature a casual atmosphere, bar games and activities, regular live entertainment by local performers and a view of the Las Vegas Strip.
The Front Yard groundbreaking follows a series of guest room and hotel interior upgrades currently in progress at the property.
The Ellis Island Casino Hotel & Brewery is located one block east of the Las Vegas Strip on Koval Lane behind Bally’s, which is a very heavily visited area of The Strip.
It has been a Vegas tradition for nearly 50 years. The hotel and brewery features a 24-hour restaurant with a famed steak special, Las Vegas’ top-voted micro-brewery and karaoke lounge, Metro Pizza and complimentary parking.
The latter is getting harder and harder to find in Vegas now that several casinos are charging for parking. Most visitors, tho, wisely do not drive while in Vegas.
