Set sail for, er, Las Vegas?
Yes, this desert city some 300 miles from the Pacific Ocean has a boat party.
It’s called “The Booze Cruise,” and it’s a tropical-themed cocktail tasting adventure set against a backdrop of 360-degree projection of islands and ocean views with classic yacht rock and party hits providing the soundtrack. A bikini-clad girl is the “cruise director” and people get a souvenir captain’s hat.
The “cruise” then departs with a flight of four cocktails:
• Island Mojito – Mango chili rum, passionfruit, lime, mint
• Blue Hawaiian – Vodka, pineapple, lime, blue curaçao, whipped cream
• Bahama Mama – Coconut rum, orange, pineapple, lime, strawberry daiquiri
• Going Bananas Whisky & Whip – Howler Head Whiskey, pineapple Dole Whip, banana, Tajín rim
Additional island-inspired cocktails, spirits and beer is also available.
“Come escape the Vegas heat and relax with ocean vibes and tropical cocktails. This is something different – an immersive cruise ship fantasy that never leaves the dock. It’s the kind of memorable experience people travel to the Strip forl” said said Noel Bowman, partner, DREAMBOX360º.
“Cruises” will set sail, beginning at 11 a.m. daily. Tickets are $47 for guests and include the flight of four cocktails, the captain’s hat and a digital postcard. For guests ages 10 to 20, tickets are $19 and include access to the immersive experience, one refreshing mocktail and a digital postcard to commemorate the journey. A captain’s hat is $7.
For those looking to extend their chill getaway, bundled packages, including admission to the neighboring Minus5º ICEBAR, are available for $59 per adult 21 or older or $29 for minors ages 10 to 20.
DREAMBOX360º is located at 3545 S. Las Vegas Blvd. at The LINQ Promenade on the Las Vegas Strip. Guests must be 10 or older to experience “The Booze Cruise” and 21 or older to consume alcohol. Seats are limited, so reservations are recommended but walk-ins are also welcome with space permitting. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit dreambox360.com.
