How To Get Up And Down The Strip And To Other Places In Sin City

The LV Monorail has partnered with the rideshare company to offer a credit to use the service combined with the monorail.
With the Lyft partnership, anyone who purchases a full-price, unlimited-ride pass on the Monorail will receive $5 off Lyft rides issued through a special code. The price of an all-day ticket is $12; this promotion is also good for multi-day passes.
With an online purchase, the Monorail/Lyft partnership allows for unlimited access to all seven stations along the Monorail’s 3.9-mile route, which includes stations at MGM Grand; Bally’s/Paris Las Vegas; Flamingo/Caesars Palace; Harrah’s/The LINQ; Las Vegas Convention Center; Westgate Resort & Casino and SLS Las Vegas.
“What we do really well is carry our customers to the many resorts and attractions near our seven-station system along the Las Vegas Strip,” said Ingrid Reisman, vice president and chief marketing officer, Las Vegas Monorail. “This partnership with Lyft bridges the transportation gap and allows our customers to extend their journeys easily and economically to the airport, Downtown and beyond.”
“Lyft is excited to partner with the Las Vegas Monorail to provide a connection service for users who want to explore beyond the Rail’s route,” said Yacob Girma, Lyft Las Vegas General Manager. “We are always looking for ways to provide Las Vegas residents with a reliable and affordable transportation option, and our partnership with the Monorail helps us do that.”
The LV Monorail is a great way to get up and down The Strip. One good way to utilize the Lyft promotion is to check out downtown Las Vegas, which now has a free Downtown Loop shuttle service and some cool old-school bars.
Plus, it has really good Happy Hour specials at the bars on Fremont Street. As a PubClub suggestion, start at Hennessey’s and make your way down Fremont Street.
