Mob Museum Introduces the ‘Knightcap’ Drink
The success of the the Las Vegas Golden Knights – the first expansion team in the history of the National Hockey League to advance to the Stanley Cup Finals in its inaugural year – has created hockey fever in the desert.
And now, in Sin City, it’s also led to the creation of a cocktail in honor of the team.
The Underground, The Mob Museum’s new Prohibition history exhibition featuring a speakeasy and distillery, introduces the “Knightcap,” a drink in honor of the Golden Knights.
A twist on a popular 1920s-era drink called The Gold Rush, the Knightcap features The Mob Museum’s house-distilled moonshine infused with Ginger Jake, fresh lemon juice, egg white and brown sugar simple syrup served up in a classic coupe glass garnished with edible gold dust.
So when Vegas Golden Knights fans want to do “cheers” to their team, they can now do it with a team drink.
The price is $12, tho it will be half price during all Stanley Cup Finals games. Here is the schedule of those games (all times 5 p.m., Vegas time):
Monday, May 28: Golden Knights 6, Capitols 4
Wednesday, May 30: Capitals 3, Golden Knights 2 (Series tied 1-1)
Saturday, June 2: Golden Knights @ Capitals | NBCSN, CBC, SN, TVA Sports
Monday, June 4: Golden Knights @ Capitals | NBC, CBC, SN, TVA Sports

Capitols win series 4-1 and are Stanley Cup Champions
The Underground is open Sunday through Wednesday from 9 a.m.-10 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday until midnight. Admission to the speakeasy is free daily after 5 p.m. and free any time for patrons through its secret side entrance, using the daily passwords found on Instagram Stories @MobMuseum_Underground.
