Peppermill Fireside Lounge Has A Fire Pit Jacuzzi & Exotic Cocktails
It’s has a Jazuzzi. And not just a Jazuzzi but one surrounded by a fire pit.
It’s not in a bar, either. It’s in a rather obscure lounge on the quiet north end of the LV Strip, a place only people in the know know about and a favorite drinking Strip drinking spot for locals.
If you look at the Peppermill Fireside Lounge from the outside, you think that it’s one of those 24-hour diners. And you would be correct. (The omelettes are huge and great by, the way. While the Hash House gets all the trendy accolades, this is an old-school spot is an awesome place to get huge meals).
But go behind the diner area and step into its lounge. In the lounge sits a sunken area with the fire pit Jacuzzzi.
Now you can’t get into the Jacuzzi, but rather you sit around it on comfortable cushions sipping your cocktails. It’s one of the coolest things you’ll find in a bar in Vegas, and that’s saying something in this town.
The crowd is mostly mellow and of course it’s a great place to go with a date (or someone you met at another bar or club). This is not a whoop-it-up place; rather you go there to either start your night or better yet to end it.
It’s a timeless classic Vegas lounge, minus, thankfully, a bad classic Vegas lounge singer. In fact, TV screens above the fire pit play music videos. There’s soft blue and red lighting and the Peppermill also has a full cocktail of interesting drinks: Snow Shoe, Snakebite, Tootsie Roll, Salty Dog, Ramos Fizz.
The Peppermill Fireside Lounge is located next to the old Riviera Hotel near the Convention Center.
Address: 2985 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas
