Tours Include Drinks & A Sunday Brunch

See New York City’s iconic Statue of Liberty up close.
And salute her with a cocktail.
That would be aboard the World Yacht, which offers dinner cruises – and up-close looks – at the Statue of Liberty. This is a nice sit-down dinner, where you can have drinks, including champagne.
There is live entertainment, either a band or even a DJ. But it’s no booze cruise, It’s not a party boat. There’s even a dress code (business casual).
The four-course dinner cruise includes a prix fixe menu with salad, main course and dessert. Two two higher-end options offer more menu choices. It goes from 7-10 p.m., seven evenings a week from May thru December (January thru April are primarily limited to weekends).
There is also a Sunday brunch cruise that goes from noon-2 p.m. The price is $63 (plus tax) and it runs from April 8-Oct. 28. Sorry, no bottomless champagne!
In addition to the Statue of Liberty, the cruise goes down the Hudson River, under the Brooklyn Bridge and around the tip of Manhattan.
The departure point is Pier 81 at West 41st Street and 12th Ave.
Prices start at $70 and reservations, while not required, are recommended. You don’t exactly want to miss the boat on this one.
Its website for bookings is: www.worldyacht.com.
