Smoky Mountain Wine Fest Is For #WineLovers In Tennessee

When it comes to the Smoky Mountains, moonshine is the best-known beverage in the area.
But there’s wine, as well. And on Saturday, April 9, there’s an event for wine lovers, the Gatlinburg Smoky Mountain Wine Fest featuring wineries from all over Tennessee.
And yes, there are wineries in Tennessee.
Sanctioned by the Tennessee Wineries Association, the festival features 17 wineries from across the Volunteer state, along with small dishes from the best restaurants in the Smoky Mountains.
It takes place at the Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts from 1 – 6 p.m.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. This includes a wine glass with the event’s logo – gotta have that, right!? – and bottles are available for purchase.

But wait, there’s more! On April 8, from 6-9 p.m,, there is a Gatlinburg Wine Tour This is a personal tour of three of Gatlinburg’s local wineries. Transportation to and from each winery is provided and hors d’oeuvres are available. A gift bag will be raffled off on each bus at the end of the tour. Registration and Opening Reception will take place starting at the Courtyard by Marriott at 5 p.m.
