Not all of the Dallas nightlife is in Dallas. It spills out into the surrounding cities. One of them is Frisco, 27 miles north of Dallas and 39 miles from AT&T Stadium – a.k.a. “Jerry’s World” – where the Cowboys play their games.
And, as home of The Star – the five-pointed headquarters of the Dallas Cowboys – one could say that a “Star” is born in Frisco.
This is a rundown of the bars and nightlife in Frisco Texas, including “The Star” complex, which not only serves as the home and practice facility of the Cowboys but also has food, drinking and entertainment establishments,17 of them, in fact.
Frisco Sports Bars

• Concrete Cowboy – Part nightclub, part sports bar, this industrial-chic hangout spot features live music & DJs and is located within The Star complex.
• Sidecar Social – The slogan of this Texas-sized bar is “Don’t Just Go Out, Go. All. Out,” and keeping with that mentality, it has DJs, live band karaoke on Wednesdays and games that include ping pong and pop-a-shot. Located in the Star District, it also has The Cowboys Hour, a Happy Hour radio show on the Cowboys with guests and food & drink specials during football season (Tuesdays, starting at 6 p.m.).
• Fanzo – The main attraction of this modern two-level sports bar is a huge video wall that shows sports. It is primarily a restaurant and also has a bar scene.
• Derbyshire Pub – This is an authentic British pub with local bands on Saturday nights and fun activities like triva on Tuesdays and musical bingo. There’s lots of beer, whiskey and traditional British dishes here and its signature drink is a vodka concoction called The Duke of Orange.
