Virginia is for lovers, as the popular ad campaign once stated, and one of its cities is for weekend brunch lovers.
The Richmond Region Mimosa Trail is 44 restaurants that offer mimosas of different varieties, from pineapple to pomegranate and even a Beermosa. Experiences include luxurious brunces, live entertainment, rooftop views and even miniture golf.
The latter is at the Hotel Greene; it’s Brunch on The Links is only $25 and comes with food and a round of golf. Mimosas are extra.
The Fuzzy Cactus is a rock ‘n roll bar that serves brunch on weekends. Kabana is on the 20th floor of Hilton’s Hampton Inn and Suites and Homewood Suites in Downtown Richmond. The 3 Monkeys Bar and Grill has more than 20 bunch entrees, plus appetizers, soups and salads, along with pitchers of mimosas ($12 & $14). Napa Kithen And Wine has a Sunday Jazz Brunch. Just outside of Richmond, Trojan Grill is an indoor-outdoor bar in New Kent, Va.
With so many places it is obviously impossible to get to them all even on an extended trip. So take a look at what place(s) in this list look the most yummy and interesting from Visit Richmond, the city’s tourism board. Of couse, if you prefer Bloody Marys to mimosas, that’s an option, too.
