The Annual Beach Cities Holiday Tradition

The 12 Bars of Christmas is as much a part of the landscape of the Los Angeles South Bay Beach Cities as the holiday strolls, boat parades and the spectacular Manhattan Beach fireworks.
It consists of 50+ people visiting the local watering holes in Hermosa Beach, all attired in Christmas clothing. If
The meeting spot is traditionally Tower 12 at 6 p.m. The group will stay there until 7:30, then goes to another 11 bars on Pier Plaza and Hermosa Ave. Typical bars on the Hermosa Beach 12 Bars of Christmas pubc crawl are Sharkeez, Patrick Molloy’s, Hennessey’s and Barnacles. The event is free but to get designated drink specials at the bars, you’ll need a badge and bring a toy to be donated to a local children’s charities.
If you have been on the 12 Bars of Christmas, you may see yourself here in these ph0tos posted on PubClub.com from one of the years!
Note that this is NOT a pub crawl – the sometimes odd-thinking Hermosa Beach City Council has outlawed such outlandish happenings – but a gathering of good friends, some familiar and others made just for the night who just happen to wind up at the various bars at the Pier at the same time.
