Fire Island Will Be On Fire With Hot Girls On A Steamy Summer Saturday
As summer is winding down, what better way to keep things heated up at the beach than with a bikini contest!?
Except this one is not in Florida; it’s in Fire Island, N.Y. The annual Miss Flynn’s Bikini Contest takes place Saturday, Aug 27, at Flynn’s bar in Ocean Bay Park. And, needless to say, Fire Island will be on fire for this event.
There are 20 girls entered to win a $1,500 Grand Prix. Second place gets $500. Third place wins $200 and the fourth- and fifth-place girls win $100.
The contest is comprised of a t-shirt walk, a bikini walk and “individual talent.” Clearly, the winner has to stand out in more ways than one.
In addition to the girls, there’s music from New Life Crisis and DJ Fots Beats, and $4 Miller Lite beers.
Doors open at noon and the contest starts at, well, sometime after noon.
There’s a $10 cover.
This is just one of many end-of-summer events happening at Flynn’s. On Sunday, Aug. 28, there’s a reggae dance party from 3-9 and on Saturday of Labor Day a lineup of bands, headlined by Sublime tribute band Badfish ($15 advance, $20 at the door).
