For the first time in its “sinful” history, Las Vegas will be hosting the ultimate events of events, the Super Bowl.
Super Bowl LVIII is in Las Vegas, played at Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders. The date is Sunday, Feb. 11, 2024 and features the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs against the San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers are a 2.5-point favorite and the over/under is 48.
Such an event in such a city does not pass without notice. Nor does it just some into town and leave, a one and done deal. Oh, no, there are several days of activity building up to it, making it not Super Bowl Day but Super Bowl week.

Super Bowl LVIII Events, Monday, Feb. 5
• Super Bowl Opening Night. This is a media day with the players and coaches, with a fans’ element to it. There is entertainment and the chance to listen to interviews through the NFL OnePass app (be sure and bring your headphones).

Super Bowl LVIII Events, Wednesday, Feb. 7
• The NFL Experience (Thru Saturday, Feb. 10). This is the annual Fan Fest (primarily for families and kids) is at Mandalay Bay. It runs during Super Bowl week from Tuesday-Saturday. The first day’s admission fee if $25 and then it jumps to $50 (kids 12 and under are free). The hours are 3-10 p.m.
• Soulful Celebration at the Super Bowl. This is al ive television taping featuring NFL players, award winning R&B, Gospel, Hip Hop and pop music, held at the Palms. Tickets start at $75.

Super Bowl LVIII Events, Friday, Feb. 9
• Shaq’s Fun House. Of course Shaquille O’Neal is in Vegas hosting a Super Bowl party. Shaq’s Fun House. This is am immersive carnival with live performances from Lil Wayne, Diplo and, of course, Shaq. It’s location is XS at The Wynn Las Vegas. It begins at 10 p.m., and ticket prices start at $99.

Super Bowl LVIII Events, Saturday, Feb. 10
• Gronk Beach. Party animal and former Super Bowl champion Rob Gronkowski is hosting a party called “Grong Beach” at Encore Beach Club. This is a Gronk-sized party with drinks, food and music with artists and DJs. Tickets start at $79.99 and the event begins at Noon.

• Sports Illustrated Party. SI may be in financial trouble (rumors are rampant that the magazine is on the brink of collapse) but the Super Bowl party is still happening and it’s THE traditional Super Bowl Week party. SI The Party 2024 will feature global superstars The Chainsmokers and Kygo. The location is XS Nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas. Tickets start at $99.

• Michelob ULTRA Country Club. An An open bar, food live performances from T-Pain and Lil Wayne at TopGolf Las Vegas. It goes from 7 p.m.,-12:30 a.m., and tickets are $349 ($299 advance).

• Taste of the NFL. Here’s an event for the high rollers in town, a culinary event featuring celebrity chefs, including Andrew Zimmerman. It goes from 3-7 p.m., and the location is the Keep Memory Alive Center. Tickets start at $1,200.

Super Bowl LVIII Events, Sunday, Feb. 11
• Guy’s Flavortown Tailgate. A pregame meal for the fans hosted by celebrity chef Guy Fieri. But it’s just not food; there are musical performances by country music superstars Dustin Lynch and Diplo presents Thomas Wesley. The location is at the High Roller & LINQ Promenade and goes from 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m.
