Culinary & Cocktails Event Features Chefs Of NFL Teams

The annual Taste of the NFL, a culinary and cocktails event held the day before the Super Bowl, features the Grammy Award-winning trio The Band Perry in 2017.
A sanctioned NFL event, it’s held at the University of Houston.
The event features celebrity chef The Cake Chef, as well as chefs from several NFL teams (yes, NFL teams have their own chefs). It also has a couple dozen former NFL players, including Everson Walls (Dallas Cowboys), Jack Youngblood (LA Rams), Ted “The Stork” Hendricks (Oakland Raiders) and Dick Anderson (undefeated 1972 Miami Dolphins).
The Band Perry will play a one-hour set during the event.
Also known as the Party with a Purpose, it supports the fight against hunger. James Beard Award-winning TV personality, chef and author Andrew Zimmern will co-host this year’s event alongside TV Host, Chef and Restauranteur Richard Blais and Iron Chef Alex Guarnaschelli.
All cocktails are included with the price of the ticket, which is $700. The event begins at 5:30 p.m., for VIPs with GA admission at 7 p.m.
“Taste of the NFL – Party With A Purpose” is the single most successful charitable event at the Super Bowl, as it helps to feed the 37 million Americans through their local food banks.
The 2017 Super Bowl is being held at NRG Stadium in Houston.
