Testicle Festival The Testy Fest 2018 Event In Montana Is Canceled

This was one event where you were guaranteed to have a ball.

It was Testy Fest, or the Testicle Festival, a wild, bizarre, only-in-America event that involves lots of beers, girls bearing their breasts as a result of all that beer (and ample encouragement from guys drinking lots of beer) and deep fried bull testicles as the main menu item.

It took place the first weekend of August at the Rock Creek Lodge in Rock Creek, Montana. But the event ended after 35 years when Rock Creek owner Matt Powers pulled the plug on it.

The final straw was when a drunk and obviously obnoxious person was kicked out last year and after he was put in a van hired to take people to and from the event, he grabbed the wheel and caused the van to flip that resulted in two fatalities.

So what happened here exactly the previous 35 years? Well, there were testicle eating contests, nine bands, a Wet T-shirt contest and the Undie 500. On Friday and Saturday as many as 10,000 people went to it and most, well, had a ball. (Some people had more than a ball, they had balls in the form of fried testicles, but that was their choice, of course).

It was a down-home, blue jeans-and-t-shirts (and cowboy boots) pretty-much-anything-goes event held in a rustic cabin pretty much in the middle of nowhere. The nearest town is 22 miles away and you’ve probably never heard of it if you’ve never been near Montana (it’s Missoula).

It was just those that could not handle having a ball that brought down the event.
