Cowboys & Lions On Turkey Day And Key Rivalries Saturday

Thanksgiving Day and in fact the entire weekend is about more than turkey dinners.

It’s also a lot about football. It’s gotten so big that the NFL now features not just two games with the traditional Cowboys and Lions playing, but a later prime-time matchup.

And in college football, it’s rivalry Saturday with the Iron Bowl, USC-UCLA, Ohio State-Michigan and other key games that not only for bragging rights but will have a factor into the four teams in the playoff.

So here’s the games on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Thanksgiving Day Top Games (all times Eastern)

• 12:30 p.m. – Eagles at Lions
• 4:30 p.m. – Panthers at Cowboys
• 8:30 p.m. – Bears at Packers

College

• 4:30 p.m. – Texas Tech at Texas
