Guest Brews, A Beer Wench And National Toast Highlight Events

American Craft Beer Week is May 13-19 and Monterey Bay craft brewery Peter B’s – which has won several awards for its beers – is participating with events each night of the week.
It starts on Monday, May 13, with the release of Alvarado Street Raspberry Wheat Ale (Alvarado Street is just out the door of Peter B’s and is the main street of bars and restaurants in downtown Monterey, CA), and concludes on on the weekend with Peter B’s pouring at the Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Cooking For Solutions three-day event.
In between are daily brewery tours and tastings, beer specials on Wednesday that starts with KRML Beer Talk and a Brewer’s Dinner with a beer wench (Thursday).
Additionally, each day Peter B’s will feature guest beers with $3 pints until the keg runs dry. The beers are:
• Monday, Santa Cruz Mountain Brewing
• Tuesday, English Ales Brewery
• Wednesday, Firestone Walker Brewing
• Thursday, Bison Brewing
• Friday, Drakes Brewing
• Saturday, Hermitage Brewing
• Sunday, Uncommon Brewers
This is just one of many events of American Craft Beer Week, which features, among other events in craft breweries across the USA, a Nationwide Toast. That occurs on Thursday, May 16, at 8 p.m., ET. At that time, small brewers and craft beer drinkers are asked to raise a glass of their favorite craft beer and the industry.
