Speciality Cocktails From Hilton’s Bartenders And Mixologists
We all know about eggnogg spiced up with rum, a Christmas punch and other traditional drinks, but the mixologists for Hilton properties in Puerto Rico, Brazil and Panama have created new cocktails for the holidays.
And if you can’t get to any of the bars to try them out in person, here’s the recipes of four drinks that you can dazzle people with at your holiday parties.
A Winter Mojito Among Festive Flavors
Winter Berry Mojito, Caribe Hilton from mixologist Ariel Rosario
• 1 ½ oz. Bacardi select rum
• ½ oz. Monin pure cane syrup
• ¾ oz. Lime juice
• 6 Mint leaves
• 2 Blackberries
• Club soda
Making the Winter Berry Mojito
Muddle Bacardi select rum, monin pure cane syrup, lime juice, mint leaves and blackberries in mixing glass. Add remaining ingredients, except club soda. Shake vigorously. Pour ingredients into highball glass. Fill with club soda and more fresh ice. Garnish with mint sprig and blackberries
The Sugar Cane Manhattan of Hilton São Paulo Morumbi from mixologist Rodman Paixão
• Sugar Cane Manhattan Ingredients
• 2 oz. Cachaça Leblon Signature
• ¾ oz. Martini Rosso
• 1 Sugar cube
• 4 Drops of orange bitter
• 1 Lemon zest
Making the Sugar Cane Manhattan
Macerate in a mixing glass 1 sugar cube with 4 drops of orange bitter Add the Martini Rosso, Leblon Signature and shake. Add ice ball to a cognac glass. Strain from the mixing glass to the cognac glass. Add a zest of lemon for decoration.
Holiday Spirit, Hilton Barra Rio de Janeiro from mixologist Darlan Sanches
• Holiday Spirit Ingredients
• 6 slices of Watermelon
• ¼ oz. of Cranberry liqour
• 1 oz. of Vodka
• ¼ oz. of Ginger syrup
Making the Holiday Spirit
Mash all the ingredients together and serve in a tall cocktail glass.
Christmas Passion, Hilton Barra Rio de Janeiro from mixologist, Pedro Henrique Campelo
• Christmas Passion Ingredients
• 2 oz. of Passion fruit
• ½ oz. of Curaçao Blue
• ½ oz. of Grand Marnier
Making the Christmas Passion
Decorate a martini glass with red colored sugar, cherry and mint. Mix all the ingredients and serve liberally. Christmas Dream, Waldorf Astoria Panama, from mixologist, Luis Carlos Flores.

• Christmas Dream Ingredients
• 2 oz. Baileys Irish Cream
• 1 oz. Vanilla vodk
• 1 oz. Amaretto
• Christmas stick
• Cookie crumble
Making the Christmas Dream
Wet the border of a Martini glass with Baileys and twist it in the cookie crumble. Pour the liquors into the shaker, with ice and shake well. Add a Christmas stick over the border and serve to thirsty (and anxious) guests.
