The Fourth of July is a celebration and part of that involves making and drinking cocktails.

Here are three recipes for cocktails featuring the quality 1800 tequila that will take you through the entire party period of the 4th of July in the USA. One puts a tequila twist on a traditional drink that will have you singing “God Bless America!”

1800 Independence Highball

Ingredients:

• 1 ½ oz. 1800 Cristalino
• 1 oz. pomegranate juice
• ½ oz. simple syrup
• Soda (to top)

Directions: Add all ingredients to a highball glass and stir to incorporate. Top with soda. Garnish with a lime wheel and pomegranate seeds.

1800 Coco Colada 

Ingredients:

• 2 oz. 1800 Coconut
• ¾ oz. Cream of Coconut
• ¾ oz. pineapple juice
• ½ oz. fresh lemon juice

Directions: Blend all ingredients together and serve in a hurricane glass. Garnish with a pineapple wedge.

1800 Summer Smash 

Ingredients:

• 2 oz. 1800 Silver
• ¾ oz. fresh lemon juice
• ¾ oz. simple syrup
• 1 muddled strawberry

Directions: Muddle one strawberry in the bottom of a cocktail shaker, then all other ingredients and shake with ice. Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass and garnish with a strawberry slice.
