Pumpkin Spice Dominican Coffee Uses Ron Barcelo Dominican Republic Rum

The trouble with Halloween-themed cocktails is that they are always too predicable.
Mixologists mix in pumpkin spice or other pumpkin flavor to vodka or bourbon and call it a drink.
That’s why I like this the looks of this one. It’s different. And it uses rum. Good rum – Ron Barcelo from the Dominican Republic.
Plus, in most places, Halloween means cool or cold weather and this has coffee to help keep you warm.
It’s the Pumpkin Seed Dominican Coffee and it combines Ron Barceló Añejo, hot coffee, pumpkin purée and demerara syrup to make a buzzy coffee cocktail.
Here’s The Recipe:
• 1.5 oz Ron Barceló Añejo
• .5 oz Demerara syrup
• .5 oz pumpkin purée
• 4 oz hot coffee
Making The Drink:
Build all ingredients in an Irish coffee glass. Top with unsweetened whipped cream . Garnish with star anise.
Now if that doesn’t get you in the mood to put on your costume and go to Halloween parties, well then, have two of them!
