Drink Up With These Unique Cocktails

Some people may tell you there’s no rum in Mexico.
They are wrong.
Gustoso Aguardiente is a producer of high-end rums made from 100% cane sugar from fields in the eastern hills of of Uruapan, Michoacan. They are not as sweet as rums from the Caribbean and are good for sipping but, of course, they can also be enjoyed in cocktails.
So here’s some recipes to make rum cocktails from Mexico.
Puerto Escondido
Recipe:
1.5 oz. Gustoso Aguardiente™ Rum
1 oz. La Luna Mezcal
2 oz. Pineapple Juice
1 tsp Toasted Coconut
Squeeze of Fresh Lime
Garnish with Orange Twist & Star Anise
Mojito Al Gusto
Recipe:
2 oz Gustoso Aguardiente Blanco
2 oz Soda Water
3 teaspoons sugar
1 oz Lime
El Conquistador
Recipe:
1 oz Gustoso Aguardiente Blanco
1 oz Gustoso Aguardiente Dark
3/4 oz Ginger Cinnamon Syrup
3/4 oz Lemon
1/3 oz Sherry
Healthy Cup
Recipe:
1.5 oz Gustoso Aguardiente Dark
1/2 oz La Luna Mezcal Cupreata
3/4 oz Beet & Coconut Puree
1/4 oz Beet Shrub
3/4 oz Lemon
