Gin & Tonic is the signature drink of AC Hotels around the world and for those who like that cocktail, here are some unique, er, twists, on it, at a few select locations.
At all AC Hotels there is the AC Signature G&T, made with Hendricks Gin as well as each hotel’s ACGT (A Custom Gin Tonic). ACGTs are served in AC’s specially designed Gin and Tonic glass developed by Nigel Barker to heighten taste, aroma and trigeminal effects as well as trigger psychological and visual stimuli.
Here, as promised, are local adaptations of the Gin and Tonic.

At the AC Hotel Dallas by the Galleria, you’ll find the Texas Terroir Gin & Tonic. Inspired by Texas botanicals and an amazing Spanish Gin, the hotel’s head mixologist, Sara Bergman, describes the cocktail as a balanced G&T that reminds you of a Texas sunset, with earthy notes from the fresh rosemary and the sweet brightness for which the Texas Ruby grapefruit is known.

Lauren Pierce of AC Hotel Columbus Dublin chose to embody the brand’s foundations with a Juniper + Citrus Gin & Tonic. Harmonious, discerning, and modern – the cocktail is made with the house tonic syrup and finished off with fresh baby’s breath, juniper berries, and a dehydrated grapefruit slice, creating a delicious and Instagram-worthy libation.

Paying homage to the rich local history, the AC Hotel Bethesda Downtown’s Madonna of the Trail Gin & Tonic is inspired by the Madonna of the Trail statue, located just across from the hotel. The statue celebrates women and travel, and its namesake drink honors that sentiment by using 10th Ward Genever style Gin, a woman-owned, local distillery. Flavored with Aperol and passionfruit syrup and topped with flamed cinnamon, the Madonna of the Trail Gin & Tonic not only excites the senses, but also celebrates all of the amazing contributions from women in the past, present and future.
