Get Drake’s Favorite Meals Delivered To Your Door With MicroPlate Dinners

As it turns out, I have something in common with Drake.

It’s certainly not an ability to rap and sing, but it’s what we eat. It’s through a Southern California startup called MicroPlate and it’s delivered-to-your-doorstep healthy meals. Drake and other celebrities use it to eat healthy on the road and that’s certainly one option tho they are ideal for home and to take to the office.

The full meals are delivered to your door and you can order breakfast, lunch and dinner, lunch and dinner or just dinner. They arrive in a cooler with ice packs, which you put outside to be used for the next day. The packaging of the meals is so solid, don’t trash them after you use them because they make for great storage containers.

Drake’s favorite MacroPlate meals include the Mediterranean chicken, ginger beef bowl, and peppercorn steak. He also loves MacroPlate not only because of its amazing menu but its has customized meal plans for all health-conscious eaters, such as whole 30, paleo, keto, and plant-based diets.

Even better – MacroPlate employs a 1:1 meal gifting program to families in need for every meal it delivers to members.

At first the small size of the food containers had me wondering if the meals were of adequate amounts. I mean, you know some of those healthy meals contain just enough food to get normal eater hungry. That concern went right out the window when I took off the lid – the MicroPlate people are able to pack a container the way my mother packs a car trunk. Its website states the portions are “just the right amount” and that is true.

Prep time is just 1-2 minutes in a microwave or in a pan on the stove. Some can even be enjoyed as they arrive: chilled.

Reviewing The MicroPlate Meals

Here’s a rundown of a few of the meals I ate.

• Barbeque Steak Sandwich. This is a complete meal that with a mound of meat – it comes in a ball about the size of an orange – with sauce, thick-cut wedges of potatoes, a side of cole slaw and spinach. You’ll never find that healthy touch in any BBQ joint. The bun is thin and is not your standard white bread; rather it’s a healthier version of bread. The taste is true BBQ, so much so it’s easy to forget you are eating healthy. The seasoned potato wedges are really good.

• Turkey Burrito Bowl. This is a really tasty burrito, so good it may kind of catch you off guard because it’s hard to believe something that good could come delivered that’s not from a local restaurant. This is perfect for taking to the office for lunch, when traveling or for a light yet filling dinner.

• Grilled Mahi Mahi Dinner. Awesome. The Mahi Mahi was perfect, both moist and flavorful, so much so I did not even need the included tartar sauce or lemon wedges. It comes with rice pilaf and other healthy sides of spinach and asparagus spears. It’s fantastic and proved to be my favorite MicroPlate meal.

• Cajun Lime Chicken Dinner. PubClub.com loves a little Cajun spice in our lives and the meal brought to mind a few nights spent in New Orleans. Best served with a side of Zydeco music.
