Come Find Bourbon is a spirits and culinary-focused collective established by the independent Convention & Visitors Bureaus of Covington, Frankfort and Bardstown, Ky. begins in Covington where travelers can experience all that the B-Line has to offer.
This includes an interactive line guide featuring discounts and stamps to earn bourbon swag from off-the-beaten-path distilleries like New Riff, Second Sights and The Old Pogue Distillery; award-winning restaurants including Bouquet, Coppin’s at Hotel Covington, and The Purple Poulet; and historic bars such as Old Kentucky Bar, Prohibition Bourbon Bar, and Rich’s Proper Food & Drink.
There are 23 distilleries on the trail running from south of Lexington, on the outskirts of Louisville and clear up to Cincinnati. Among the distilleries are some of the most famous in Kentucky: Jim Beam, Maker’s Mark, Wild Turkey and Woodford Reserve.
The Come Find Bourbon website has information on the towns, the distilleries and even a planning guide. It’s a year-round adventure tho obviously from a weather standpoint, spring, summer and fall are the top months for a visit. The best time would be the first of May around theKentucky Derby.
